Week 31

The weather has turned in Louisiana. This might be a brief stay for the nice weather, but we will take it and break out the fall clothes. It's actually a joke because I pretty have one set of gross, weird missionary clothes. I just add sweaters that are starting to get holes to everything. But anyway, the weather has been nice! Woooo.

There isn't too much to update on. We have a very sweet kid name Vernon Wang getting baptized in a couple weeks. He found us from his Mormon girlfriend and seems very sincere about the gospel. He came already understanding almost everything we are teaching him, which is really good. The weekends are really crazy around here. They came and go quickly with the traffic. I have never seen worse traffic, even in L.A. Since Katrina, the traffic in Baton Rouge has been way way way over capacity. It unfortunately tends to mess with our schedule, but it gives us an opportunity to pray in faith a lot. We have seen very cool things happen. Also, never have  you seen football fans like the ones in the south. And I am from Nebraska, where everyone seems to love the huskers. We aren't allowed to contact on campus, except during certain times, so often times, we have to get creative to find things to do during games. Because contraflow traffic doesn't allow for travel either. Usually we end up planning because everyone is either watching the game or at the game. Seriously people, these games are taken VERY seriously.

Our wonderful family, the Rosenaur's are doing well. They are still working on quitting smoking. We talk about the Atonement of Jesus Christ with them a lot. They are so awesome, keep praying for them!! :)

I can't think of much more to email about. Write me at this address:
